Today's Dyno session is not happeneing due to meetings, oh and I am fitting a new water pump too. I hope to be there within a week.

Nothing wrong with a bit of gearbox whine!

What sort of pump will you be using, 2wd cossie? I never did find anyone who makes a 2wd alloy pump with cast impeller [x2x]

btw turbo looks

Thats excellent, if it is good for you it will definately be something that I will be looking into when I start chasing some proper hp in the future.

This is one of the early plots (got late and just grabbed one of the 21 runs done); the boost control is all sorted now and we make the same power at 24psi. So the stock motor produces 260kW atw approx. By the way it is awesome to drive and already turns the tyres in an instant if requested. So numbers aside it is great.
I have 4 set points in the e-boost 2; approx 16, 20, 24 and 28 psi.

The power is the same from 24psi onwards, just comes in earlier with more boost. This was already evident with Phil’s car. So maybe we will look at increasing the flow capacity of the motor in the future but for now it is berserk enough. [88]

Hi Mark what do you think would be your next step, have a play with cams, do some head work or something else.

...Drive it for now and get some ROI. Not concerned with more power[:0](yet)[;^)][(#)][88]

Not bad, seems that a limit has been found on the hardware.. I have read elsewhere (uk forum) that 430bhp is the limit of the 4x4 manifold.. although if Phil is making the same power and hitting the same 'wall' as you with a 2wd drive manifold i suppose that shouldn't be the limiting factor at this point.

How does it compare to the last turbo ? What's the difference in torque ? Does it feel laggier at all? When I was testing my car with the 02 meter on the street (t3/t4 standard rear wheel and housing and L6 management) and my vaccum line blew off the compressor housing I was hitting the 30psi boost cut at 4200rpm.. so yours looks pretty responsive, considering its horspower potential.

Well done, your car makes me jealous.. but it's definately something for someone like me to strive towards

New front end upgrade is well under way...
Capri struts with welded gussets for strength, shortened and fitted with Bilsteins, 300lb springs (not shown), 330mm rotors (DBA 5000 series with alloy bells), Brembo calipers from a GT-P, custom designed alloy hubs to suit, my own eccentric strut tops to allow for up to 6 degrees caster and 4 degrees camber (settings are aimed at 5 degrees caster and 3.5 degrees camber)...Will be finished this weekend...

I jizzed in my pants!

I would increase the front spring rating a little more while you have it all apart.

Can expect a Summernats entry this year Mark?
I will pay for the entry fee if your keen
