The Tacho is a new VDO item with hand painted face that now shows 10,000rpm. The speedo is standard and has well and truely been clocked.

mark howd you go about re-inforcing the front grill? i notice you cut out the spaces in the front, did you run wire behind it or was it strong enough without?
also what camera did you use? or are these from the FF&R shoot?

The grille is cut - but not completely so it is still rigid enough to support the gaps. The camera was a 12 mega pixel digital item.

The poor T3 gave up.[8~2]....This is okay[:u][:p].. I have a replacement on the way.[;^)]
Within the month there should be some photos of the new arrangement which includes a custom ratio straight cut gearbox.[:I]
It will be interesting to see what a stocker (internals are 1986 as new; yes this one was a very rare find[;^)]) YBB can do with a decent snail, ECU, ignition, intercooler and injectors.[:p]
A 22 Y.O engine with a hint of modern technology thrown on the side...
I even had to put off my article with Street Machine yesterday - This was okay too as they pounced at the chance to see it with even more on offer...We can only hope[:I][:0]

Yes straight cut. These days the teeth are properly ground and this reduces the noise. I have discussed the gearing arrangement/different gearboxes at length and this was chosen as the best solution! Bloody better be[;^)][88]
