Anti dive kit questions

Looking at anti dive kits for Mk2 Escort, looks pretty easy to make yourself, just a couple of questions before I fire up the welder...
How much lower do the sway bar mounts have to be? Will the car being lowered have any effect on this measurement? ...and do I really need one at all? Just planning some light hillclimb when the cars done.
Ideas? Opinions?

    Here you go -

You may find it lowers and pushes back the control arms thus decreasing caster whioch is not ideal.  A K-Mac adjustable swaybar or Twin Cam Bar will allow for the caster to be adjusted.

    Cheers

The idea is that at rest the rearward arms on the ARB are horizontal.  There is a write up somewhere on the Turbospud forum showing the how's and why's.  I bought one from GRP4 Fabrication but to be honest if I realised how simples it was I would have made one.  Matts pic above looks great.
