    Hmmmm.
    1969 codes
    Model 13918 = 1600GT
    Engine = F = 1600 2V
    Trans = Y = 3spd auto
    Paint = Z = Zircon Green  (XT Falcon dark metallic green IIRC)
    Trim = N = Dark Saddle
    .....So sayeth the Ford Australia Parts and Accessories manual  dated 5/71

    All depends on your desire for originality.

    Ok, I had a look at this one today. It's not in its original paint colour, Zircon Green, it's another turquoisey colour green, but a nice finish though! It also has all black interior, which isn't original, but is very nice to the eye. Both bumpers have dings in them and it's on Club Plates, so not a registered and going concern from the buyers point of view. It aso has a V6 bonnet and was owned by a member of the Classic and Auto Club of Australia (CHACA) and was serviced by Sangate in Notting Hill, ex- Springvale from the 70's.

    Shannons appear not to know the engine number, as they have only listed the block type!

    All in all, not a bad example of a 69 1600GT Automatic, worth between $10 and $12K.

    PS, I didn't get to see under the bonnet!

    Current ride:
    '83 Mk.3 Capri, 2.8i, 5-spd

    Guide price of 5-8k is somewhat conservative, and probably reflects a desire to sell.

    Passed in. $4750

    That is surprisingly low for what appears to be a pretty good car (from the photos at least).
