Capri RS 3100 Rims

Hi All,
 
Does anyone know if RS 3100 Capri wheels would fit on a Mk1 Escort?  I suspect wrong offset but thought I would ask the experts on here.  Many thanks

    Many years ago I used RS3100 alloys on a Mk1 Escort.
    A spacer (1/4 inch I think) was needed on the front wheels.
    185/65x13 tyres were used and I think anything wider could be a problem.
