Just a quick heads up, just spent $800 at Eslinger and $1500 at Racewalsh on my engine parts, head is fully done, head was build and geometry done in QLD by Abbott Engines, and turbo is about to go to MTQ(even tho is just new) to have the float type bearing machined out to make way for a custom ball bearing center

The new diff arrived today, Dana/Spicer M86 locker, complete diff from a BF RTV ute!!!
Tested it tonight, perfect working order, ready for a cut and shut now!

What's the pro's and con's of the RTV diff?
I know they have a electronic locking mechanism, but is an LSD type when not locked? Can't see any benefit apart from locking when wanting to do burnout. But an LSD would do somewhat the same.

There not electric as Ford states, there a Dyna Vacuum locker with electric feedback, there an open centre when not locked
Perfect for street and then lock for strip
