Kent Pre Crossflow Parts Interchangeability

Hi Guys, first time poster so please be nice :)
My wife has acquired an old 61 model 105E which needs a complete rebuild so I am starting to learn a bit about these cars.
The engine has been replaced with a 1500 pre crossflow but is now completely disassembled and resides in the boot. The plan was to attempt to rebuild it but I have found access to a 1200cc engine. As I would like to keep the larger capacity I wish to know how compatible these two engines are? Are things like manifolds and heads interchangeable or too different? Can you like with many other engine families swap out parts from different engines?
Cheers

    Short answer is yes.

Only difference between them is stoke (crank), rod length and block height - again short answer.
