1.6 alternator wiring to 2lt alternator help?

Help needed!!! I am doing this conversion at the moment and know nothing about electrics. Anyway majority of the swap is done besides wiring for the alternator. On the 1600 it had 5 wires going into a plug which plugs into the alternator, but the pinto alternator only has 2 wires going to it??? Anyone had this problem and howd you get around it? Thanks guys
