MK1 windscreens

Gday all, have a mk2 panelvan and was told the windscreen is the same as the mk1 escort. Now I need to find a windscreen for rego and hoping people still make them or if they can be custom made roughly how much if someone has got one made before an could let me know would be much appreciated.     There is a guy here in Aus who stocks them.  Look for a thread on here about heated screens his contact details are in there somewhere
     
    For some reason my computer wont let me copy and paste the URL.......  Just search the forum for "heated screen" and it will come up

    You can still buy MK1 screens from any windscreen place. Protector Glass Industries certainly still have them.

    Make it go FASTER!

    Thanks guys hopefully now I can get one and get this thing registered and on the road. Been sitting at a farm since 2006

    Mitchy wheere are you located as I can supply you at $79 inc GST if it helps out thiis time .... As I am supposed to be in business
     
    I have also had others ask too .... I must have worded things wrong as the offer was to help out a fellow member get going. As my post may have been miss-leading I have looked after those others who asked, but sorry I can't do this for all
    Simply trying to help out Mitchy as he seemed stuck ....
    Having said this I may be able to do a group buy thingy later if there is interest ?

    Any good windscreen fitter  will get them for you, mine was replaced under insurance

    UNDERSTEER is when you hit the wall with the front of the car. OVERSTEER is when you hit the wall with the rear. HORSEPOWER is how fast you hit the wall. TORQUE is how far you take the wall with you.
