replacing xflow with pinto :/

Gday everyone im currently putting a pinto from my panel van into my mk2 4dr and am using the box from the pinto to everythings looking good except the radiator sits inside the fins on a pinto to make more room and has the bottom radiator panel cut out to fit the radiator where the 1600 car doesnt. I am going to cut it out the same and weld an angle or something there but was wondering if anyone had other ideas or pics of how they have done it? Thanks
Mitch

Thanks, might have a go at making a piece at work to weld in. Good to know if it fails I can just buy one, ill be copying the one on my panelvan so have a pretty good idea how to do it, just thought there might be another option without cutting it. Will start today and hopefully be putting the pinto in saturday cant wait. Should be a bit more fun the the low comp 1.6

haha gotta have faith. I have wanted a 2lt escort since i was a kid and am finally close to having one lol. Not to much to go just weld that piece and path the holes from where the battery tray was removed, wire up new cluster with tacho, then fit the motor n box lol. sounds easy when i type it haha
