springs which way up!!

Hi all
Dug a set of lowered springs out of the shed for my mk1, can anyone tell me which way up they go! I pressume the coils that are closer together go at the bottom?

    Stacker coils?

     
    The coils that are closer together that stack when you load the spring.  I'm assuming they are kings or simialr since you mentioned coils that were closer together.  These go to the top.
