Saph Rebuild

As its quiet here, i thought I would post my lastest project. as some of you know a bought a saph last year and got it running, but the faded paint has finally **** me off and its now in the process of being striped. She a mooney 2wd saph, and i plan on geting her looking nice before i go looking for more power as i am getting bored with 330 BHP. so with a couple of Hrs up my sleeve and a bottle of jim i headed to the shed. this is what she looks like now. phone pics so they are a bit ****ty... Cheers O

No rot, thats why i bought it, just crap paint and needed TLC. Had been sitting around since 2001 in the shed.I will keep updating as it gets some work done.

Well got stuck into it over last couple of days. Its nearly bare, just a couple of little things left. Now the fun begins, will be getting some bits off to the sandblasters, and time to start the body prep, going to paint the underside and bay first. then the inner doors, with the inner boot and bonnet, then the outside. I was thinking of painting the underside back to factory dove grey with over spray of moonie blus, but im going to spray the whole underside moonie blue and detail it how i want it....Silver tank, black beam.. Im going to rid the bay of all the old red hoses, as it looked tacky, and paint all the alloy bits satin black.  Thanks for the comments Clevo..

I have also been having thoughts about sending it to SCS in QLD for a computer and turbo upgrade, as you can never have to much power ;)
