Congrats on getting the car in the mag. That would have to be one of the cleanest Rs's around.

A friend of mine told me that there was an escy in FF and 20mins i was at the newsagent with my eftpos card out [:x)]

I cant afford to buy Classic Ford anymore at $17 a pop ! [:(!]

CAUTION: This POST CONTAINS AN OPINION. MEMBERS WHO CAN NOT RESPECT THAT PLEASE REFRAIN FROM COMMENT.

Fast fours has gone down hill from a few years ago.
Trends and cars change, writing gets.....silly. Some of the cars are fantastic, others should be left in the shed!
And of course Peter got a feature! It's a nice feature, It's an excellent car(a bit slow, but still excellent. Change that Diff!)

I also agree with SimonP, Get rid of your photo and it's the best feature they have ever done!

i suppose this isn't the topic to be talking about this.

but i agree, fast fours have been going down hill for a while, to much plastic and as someone said cheque book cars. i being buying the old school mags, now there a good read!!! tech features and stuff, to many god dam mini's em them but u can't have everything.

So if anyone wants to part with their magazine collections, Fast fours, Hot4's anything, send us an email or something.

Peterr,

I am interested in getting some of those headlight covers if your still willing to get some made up. Will they come with the white lines on them? or will they just be the perspex cover?

They would just be perspex, but I can put white pin stripes on them for you.

Matt

The zetec is much cheaper than the Cossie but it depends on what you're after. The Zetec has it's restrictions on the amount of HP achievable compared to the scope of the Cossie and available performance parts. For ultimate HP you cannot go past the Cossie...[:u]

I have been quoted around the $2500 mark from a wrecker for a low km Zetec engine complete with ECU although if you keep an eye out at the damaged car auctions you can probably pick up a whole car (Mondeo) for less than half of that! A complete car would be beneficial if you are getting it engineered as you NEED ALL the emission gear and the associated equipment that goes along with it (as in my case). Also with a whole car you can get a better idea of the engine condition as you can see the odometer and the general appearance of the whole car which you cannot from an engine alone. [%]

Looking good Peter.
I've got a couple of pictures of your car from the Australian Classic Car shoot if you want me to put them up?
