Nice engine bay Mark.
I bought my car as a complete car in undercoat/ in pieces and bead blasted it to bare metal.

The car is quite good.
These photos are of its first day when it is remotely complete. I do not have a good front on photo, but will get one soon. This car is a 2 seater now. It is extensively modified with everything.........but a Turbo.........that is the next motor build. I also included a photo of my daily driver. It is awesome to own two RS2000's..........they are just so much fun.

Ahh, I have just worked out who you are Mark. Here is a pic of your car that I took at last years display day at Deepwater. The new RS looks great too! You should bring one of your beasts out for Supercruise 9 on Anzac Day... Phil and I should be going.

Mark

Are they the 16x7 superlites I see?

Any side on pics to give a better look at the rims and the car?

Great work

Sean, Supercruise sounds good....I still have teething problems with the electrics though.
Paul, they most certainly are 16x7", I have owned them since they were first released.......more photos to come as I get a hold of a camera.........ok........fine........i have got a photo of the the car on a side view but it does not do it any justice.

Peter,

Very impressed with your ride.....I have always liked the Red.....but as my Coupe was originally midnight blue from the factory, I kept it blue........not so many blue RS2000's around.

Is yours the original blue or is it slightly different?

It is a totally made up colour, I just picked one out of a colour chart and hoped it would look good, I really just wanted any Royal Blue. The photo makes it look dark and flat.....it is actually bright and shiny.

It's a great article Pete - congratulations once again. But why they insisted on sticking a pic of that ugly mug of yours in there I will never know! [:o)]

Seriously though, top stuff. I still think the car looks better in the flesh though.

It took a couple shoots but the photographer is relentless in making sure the quality of his work is high and I commend him on that so all up it took about 4 months from the first shoot till it hit stands.

FF did not have a problem with my car being in a mag previously.

I stopped buying fast fours due to the level of crap in the mag,it sounds like they may be coming around and putting some decent owner built cars back in,instead of the cheque book cruisers they seem to favour.Good work Pete, have you scanned the article by any chance[?][;^)]
