FIA Kill Switch & Starter Button

Hi Guys,

I am installing a FIA KIlls Swict and thought i'd remove the key ignition too as mine is on it's way out.  I will have the Kill switch, an accessory switch and a seperate one for the fuel pump. Here is the instruction sheet for the kill switch

Can anyone shed some light as to which wires are which on the back of the inginition switch?  Specifically which one is the accessory wire,  coil wire and which is the ignition wire activated by the key to start the car so i can wire this through the start button.

Cheers

Matt

    Hi Matt,
    According to my workshop manuals Thick red from  battery
                                                          Black which goes to black/yellow  to coil
                                                          Yellow  acc
                                                          violet/white brake warning light test when in start position
                                                          black/yellow which goes to black/red to starter sol.
    I will check a couple of switches I have here to see if they are the same as yours.

    Can someone please confirm my drunken fumblings -

    Black = ground
    Yellow = Constant Live
    Green w/ blue stripe = Powered ignition
    Red w/ blue stripe = Powered when Ignition turned fully on
    Red w/ green stripe - not sure but powered when accessory on
    Purple w/ white stripe = brake warning light

    Cheers

    That's pretty close.
    The Ford wiring schematic I've got says :

    Green / light blue stripe = Accessories (1st position)
    Red / light green stripe  = Ignition (2nd position)
    Red / light blue stripe    = Start (3rd position)
    Violet / white stripe       = Brake warning light
    Black                           = Earth / ground
    Yellow                          = Raw battery / constant live

    Cheers, Jason.

    Cheers Mate,

    I went and saw a mate of mine who's an auto elec and I'll just get him to do it.  I probably could do it but I figure he'll do it in 2 hours where as i'll take a few days and then will inherantly have probs.

    Cheers
