isuzu bellett GTR twin cam

Hi all, I have been offered one of these GTR twin cam engines and to be honest I had never even heard of an isuzu bellett before, they were made in the late 60's early 70's. These engines look very, very much like a lotus twin cam, even the spec's seem similar. Are they related in any way? anyone know much about them, are they any good?

Give Craig Robertson a ring at Trackside Tyres in Kilsyth Vic, a call, he is an Isuzu bellet guru, and a good supplier of race and rally tyres as well. Cheers ted

Thanks Ted like you said he sure is a guru on all things GTR twin cam actually quite convincing as to how good these engines are, wasnt to sure about one going in an escort though, but thats my perogitive. It wont be permanent IF I do go ahead with it but its just that it has that old skool twin cam look that we all love.
