Factory Sticker Removal

Hello Classic-Forders,

I'd like to know whether anyone has had success removing factory stickers from body panels without damaging them (the stickers that is, e.g. jack, tyre pressures), and if so, by what method.  I have been googling my options, but your opinions and experience are worth more.

Thanks.

I think you will find it very very difficult to remove them without damaging them irrepairably... Don't despair though as most are available as repro ones, although it may pay to check first... Some of the concourse boys are quite anal (read very very meticulous...) and have gone to great lengths to get them reproduced to the same or possibly better standards that Ford originally did... Most have had to get batches printed off and they on sell the surplus (or clubs do)
Another option if you are doing a respray is to carefully tape over them an just spray round them, but it will always be a compromise job...

Just my 2.2c worth including GST....
