Auto Tunnel Urgent Escort

I have a tunnel and firewall thats been butchered in a mk1 escort auto tunnel.
I am looking at the auto tunnel in a mk1 escort and I have a auto tunnel from a mk2 escort,
it just looks a bit weird at the firewall end and I thought I had cut it back far enough to fit my donour tunnel
Is the mk2 auto tunnel bigger than the mk1 auto at the firewall end ?
maybe the mk1 tunnel is still butcher a bit
whats your thoughts please?
thanks Jim

Hi Jim, had a quick look at mine and Kierans, and apart for the factory sound deadening stuff, they pritty much seam the same. Here are a few happy snaps (not great) cant get access to passenger sides for snaps but will be moving them out at the weekend if you need better pics.

    Hi Phil,
your right its a bit hard to see but the green mk2 tunnel are of the best images are the same as my donour tunnel,
I googled for ages last night on auto tunnels and I am assuming the existing one in the body has been flattened at the top,
I will get up some images later today

I would think the one still on the car has been flattened across the top ?

Here are some pics from when I did my auto tunnel conversion.

You will have to scroll down the page a bit.

I used a MK1 auto tunnel, but it might help you see if their is a difference?
