Steering Wheel Hub doesn't fit
Hi Guys,
I ordered a shorter steering wheel hub and when it turned up today the hole is too small for the steering column to go through.
Obviously, I will get a new one but just wanted to know whether the MK1 escorts steering column were slightly smaller and that is what they have sent me?
Cheers,
Matt

Thought so.
Anyone know where to go to get a shortened hub? Guy I got mine from doesn't have one.
Cheers

What's the length you need? I do have a hub in garage but don't know length, I will go and look for you.

Hey Mate,
the one I have is around 115mm long where as the new one is only 50mm or so.
As I have a deep dish steering wheel I bought it to move away from me a bit.
If you have something smaller than mine that would be good.
Cheers
Matt

Yeah, I'll have a look around to see what else is available.
Thanks for looking, I'll keep you posted.
