Stuffed brake booster and master cylinder on mk2 escort. Replace or upgrade?

Hey all, engines running nice now, brakes are ****. The booster is dead and the master cylinder is not working perfectly. Before I splash cash on getting a booster rebuilt or a new one. Is there a common upgrade? I couldn't seem to find any posts on the page about replacements.

    Is a possibility,
problems with registering due to dual master cylinders and price.
Other than that it would be a perfect idea.
Was hoping for more along the lines of
"you can go to the wreckers and get a brake booster and master cylinder off a *insert car* it will bolt straight on"

hey, iv two brake boosters under the bench, for small money you can take the two of them and one was working perfect when i removed it a few weeks ago, plus you dont have to go to the wreckers and take one off.
