xflow runing rough

hey, took my car out for a run yesterday and after bout an hour it started running rough, it seems to start to run rough when it gets up to temp cause i took it out this morning and ran fine until it got up to temp. Its fine if you keep the revs up but if you come to a stop and go to take off again its bad like its out of fuel, any help would be good, its a mk1 escort with 1.6 xflow. thanks

If you have an auto choke take the air cleaner off and check it is fully open when up to temp.

Ha so am i. Best thing I ever did was buy an Innovate LC1 AFR gauge.

Some bike carbs have a water line to stop them freezing up in cold conditions...not sure where you are.

The mounting rubbers could be getting warm and softer letting air in

Cool, What acrbs are you running?  I have R1's.

Have you ever had it on a dyno?  it will be the best thing you can do, in the mean time here is a guide to tuning bike carbs that may help you.
