Engine mounts

Hi

Just wanted to see if anyone can confirm the correct thickness of engine mounts in a mk2 escort xflow. Should they be equal thickness or one thicker than the other. Also wondering if my soft mounts could be the source of higher speed vibration? Suggestions please.

Cheers

The rubber mounts should be same thickness but the brackets should be different lengths. Soft mounts would dampen vibration so the cause might be something else.

Thanks for the reply. So which side gets the thinner mount?
