Clutch Spacer block needed.
Hi all,
I am just replacing a 1600 kent and 4 speed with a 2ltr pinto and type 9 gearbox.
I am at the stage to bolt gearbox onto motor and install.
The issue i have is i haven't done this same conversion for about fifteen years and i forgot that going from a 1600 clutch to 2ltr clutch using the same bell housing you need the block spacer that goes behind the pivot point on the clutch fork. Without this the clutch will fork will hit the bell housing before disengaging.
I was hoping someone here may have a spacer + bolt in an old bellhousing there not going to use and is willing to part with it.
Happy to pay for it + postage of coarse.
Even if some one has a line on new ones that would be very useful as well.
This is the last thing stopping me putting it in and firing it up (been waiting for months).
