Every now and again.....

you gotta getta lucky.

Picked up a 1969 mk2 cortina two door minus engine and box. Incredible interior, two sets of front and rear lights, two grills and surrounds plus an additional back axle, tramp bars and additional bits plus two boxes of spares for $400.00. Spent the arvo cleaning up it up, amazing shell, minor rust in the boot, one side only....Stoked...

Only question I have is can i put a spare esky kent motor in? Sump change only I think?

Sounds like a great find! EBay?
From memory, sump and pick should do it? Been a long time since I had a kent engine in my cortina. Get some pics up. I could be interested in some spares if you have any.

Well still working on my MK2 Escort but lucky enough to walk into breakers to find identical car, picked up sump, pick up, bell housing, slave and throttle linkage for $70.00. That's it now, got the lot. Will start the build after the Escort is finished, kicking myself, $470.00 for the lot.... Shell is very straight, gonna be easy to paint.
