Engine cross member swap

hey
I'm putting the pinto in my MK1. My shell has the crappy xmember where you need to align the engine mount with the bolt hole in the xmember and push the bolt in from the back. The MK2 xmember has slotted holes making it much easier to drop the pinto in with the large 50mm rubber mounts so I'm going to fit one and just bolt the MK1 steering rack to it with spring washers.
Would it be advisable to get a wheel alignment after swapping xmembers or would it be spot on? Thanks

Shouldn't make any difference assuming both the old and new cross member arent bent. Wouldnt hurt to get an alignment after

    Make it go FASTER!
