Heater bubble removal

Hi all,  I'm trying to remove the heater bubble and vent above it from a mk 2 escort.  I've drilled out all the spot welds I can see but cant get the thing to budge. Any advice on what to do next would be appreciated.
thanks,

Neil

have drilled across the scuttle vent too or have you got the screen out as well and drilled there too ?
it will not just fall off, as there will be unseen spot welds and the sealer will keep in tack,
use a thin brickys chisel to split the panels apart NEATLY ok
    can send images of procedure

Thanks for that, images would be good if you could. I'll PM my email address.
I havent drilled across the vent - couldnt see any welds there so I'll grind back the paint and see if that makes it any clearer  - yes the windscreen is out , its a donor car so I'm not afraid to mess it up a bit, but I'd like to know what I'm doing as I want to do the same to my old RS and use the donor panels on it.
