Accuspark ok with Bosch GT40 coil?

It says here the GT40 is 3ohm resistance. Are they okay to use with accuspark ignition? I read somewhere on here that some coils will wear out the accuspark quickly if the coil resistance isn't right.

From the Accuspark website - http://www.accuspark.co.uk/faqs.html#q4

I want to fit a AccuSpark. Does it matter if I have a standard or ballast coil?

The AccuSpark will work with both Standard or Ballast coils. But requires a Ohms resistance of not less than 1.4 Ohms. If the resistance falls below this it will cause the unit to run hot and reduce overall life.

I haven't had any problem with my set up using the gt40 and accuspark but I have only done 3000km on the plugs so far

I just picked up the blue 1.5ohm coil from accuspark for $30AUD delivered, took about 2 weeks. I was also using bosch GT40R and wanted the accuspark setup to last longer... No noticable difference in performance so far...

    Cheers,
