Identifying a MK2 Cortina GT

Can anyone advise what the VIN code should be to identify a MK2 Cortina as a genuine GT or GT"L"?

    Vin will start with 'CG78"

engine number will start with "CN"

    look for
radius arm mounts on the rear
the late gt and gtl have a unique dash
leading front brake caliper (mounted on the front of the strut, not the rear as the std items were)

    Cheers
