Forum Group "Scores".

Hi All,
Just a question for those more knowledgable than me.

On the author ID on the left hand side of the forum webpages there is "Scores" with a number against it.
What is the Scores? What does it score?

ta,
peter.

On the right hand sids of posts under the originating topic post there is are thumbs up and thumbs down icons. If you like a post, you can give it a thumbs up which will add one point to the posters "score". Don't like a post... you can give it a thumbs down, thus reducing the posters "score" by one point.

Um... now I am completely confused

If each time someone rates a post with a thumbs up, then how do you get the 3.33 rating as shown on the right hand side of the new topic?

    ta,
    Peter.

The 3.33 is an average of the number of stars people have given the original post (which you cant 'thumbs up').

    Its complicated alright..

Obviously there is someone here who likes making negative scores on my replies.
Looking at my last reply on this topic (dated August 8) I have received two negative scores.
I fail to see why my posting should receive this.
    Politically motivated??
