Ride height from measuring spring cups

Howdy peoples,
I have a small issue with the Capri, I have no idea of it's actual ride height and the coils in the springs are so close that when going over mild bumps the coils bind and make a horrible banging noise ( I know this is true because I can see the coil bind marks on the springs) I have no need for suspension that shiite. I was thinking if I was to measure the spring cup distance from top to bottom, I would be able to post it in the forum here and some one would be able to measure there spring cup distance, for a known ride height. ie -1 inch lower = spring cup distance of 200mm for example, or - 1.5 inch lower = spring cup distance of 185 mm etc. My car is a 3lt V6 and measuring from the back side of each spring cup, I get 110mm as an installed height with full weight of the car on the ground. Could someone please measure and post there spring cup distance from back of spring cup to back of spring cup and post the measurement and lowered spring height, within a few mm will be fine. Thanks

Scott

If only the wife left me, I would have the time to finish the car.
