SOLD 2.3 Duratec (Mazda) Engine SOLD
Item: Mazda 2.3 Duratec Engine
Location: Bowral, NSW
Item Condition: Great. I bought it from a guy who had a side impact Mazda 6. Said was running perfectly fine with around 80thou kms.
Reason for selling: Was going to use it for my mk1 project, but changed engine plans.
Price and price conditions: $1000 (firm) pick up. Or $50 more and ill deliver/meet in Sydney or Wollongong.
Extra Info: Ive never had the engine running being from a wreck, but it has been dry stored in our garage filled with oil so no reason why it wouldn't be fine. Doesn't have starter motor, alternator, or spark plugs but these are easy to obtain. Standard everything else including sensors.
So what you see is what you get. Wreckers are wanting $2000+ which i think is too much. Selling it on here at my cost to fellow small ford fans first before i put it on ebay.
There's been a number of nice 2.3 Duratec conversions of late. A great modern engine which will product plenty of torque and power. For conversion info people like eurospeed can help, or you can source ready to go kits from the UK.
