MK1 Escort Door removal

Well after beating the hell out of the last remaining door hinge pin, heating it, soaking it, bash, heat, soak, bash, for afew days, I finally gave up on the method and resorted to cutting!
I used a cut down, fine pitch hacksaw blade and made it into a long thin wedge. And slowly cut, in very small back and forth movements, between the hinge upper and lower to cut directly on the hinge pin itself. I had about 0.035" gap on mine. Once through the top pin, move onto the bottom by lifting the door vertically. And do it all again, it took 2 hours but no damage done other than the twice cut hing pin. Patience prevailled!

After all the bodged door removal attempts i've seen, i thought I would share this tip. I'll post some pics if I get a a chance.
