Mk1 engine bay loom dis-connect

Hi all,
Does the wiring loom on mk1 escy disconnect at front bulkhead, theres a connector on there but i dont want to force it if it aint meant to come out.
Just want to get itout to pain engine bay if possible.

    If there is a connector there it should disconnect
     
    I know the Mk1 Capri has two connectors on the fire wall which allow you to disconnect and remove the bay loom

    My early Mk1 loom did unplug at the bulkhead
