Fuel guage, speedo, tacho and interior light fixes.

Fuel guage was working but just stopped. I've tried tapping it just incase it was stuck, no dice.
Speedo has never worked. Cable is connected to cluster and plugged into manual gearbox but not working.
Tacho and interior light stopped working at the same time I think. Checked fuses and earths but no luck.
All advice appreciated.

To check the speedo try these in no particular order
    1. make sure it is pushed in really tight into the back of the dash
    2. Make sure the needle is tight on the spindle as they can work them selves loose
    3. Take out the dash and spin the speedo fro behind to make sure the needle moves
    4. Disconnect the speedo cable from the g/box and spin the cable to see if the needle moves.

For the Tacho try number 2. above.  Happened to me once.

    Good luck,

sounds like you need to get the test light out.. if all guages went off at the same time, they are going to all be from the same source, so its just a matter of tracing it back until you find where the break in power is. having said that, it can be a difficult task, i had a similar issue and it ended up being a broken connection inside the fuse box that would sometimes work and sometimes not.
