Fuel Pump - 2 ltr

G'day Guys
 
My fuel pump is leaking and it's not the hoses.  I am yet to pull it out to have a good look, but are these servicable and I might just have a dodgy gasket or are they a throw away item?

    The factory ones theoretically are rebuildable but you would be hard pressed to find a service kit for one these days.  If you are buying a new pump just make sure you dont get a GOSS brand pump as they have a problem in the quality of the body casting that means the body will break before you get the bolts tight no matter how careful you are with them! They replaced 3 under warranty for me and each one did exactly the same thing. I have a FUEL MISER brand on my escorts and they are good.  You should be able to get one through any autobarn, autopro, etc

    Make it go FASTER!
