The inertia starter has 9 pinion teeth and meshes correctly with the flywheel. Are there pre engaged starters to suit manual transmission with 9 pinion teeth? Thanks #1 2 Replies Related Threads

Ashdown catalogue says the 9 and 10 tooth are interchangeable, but I think pre engauged/inertia swops will produce noisy contact between starter and ring gear, no matter the number of teeth. #2
