Inertia & Pre Engaged starters

My Mk1 escort is wired for a pre engaged starter (was originally 1300 auto)
Now I have a 4 speed manual and was given an inertia starter with it. The inertia starter has 9 pinion teeth and meshes correctly with the flywheel.
Are there pre engaged starters to suit manual transmission with 9 pinion teeth?
Thanks

Pre engauged starter ring gear is a stright cut tooth and inertia ring gear has a tapered lead in on the bendix side.
Ashdown catalogue says the 9 and 10 tooth are interchangeable,
but I think pre engauged/inertia swops will produce  noisy contact between starter and ring gear, no matter the number of teeth.

Thanks hendo. I've put an ad in Wanted for a solenoid switch.
