Pinto, BDA or other???

Hi all
I came across this Youtube video and cant work out what engine each car is running especially the blue car?

I first thought it was an ordinary sounding BDA not being revved to its maximum but then though maybe a great sounding Pinto?
I'm guessing both are running Pinto's going from the RS2000 heading but you never can be sure what engine an Escort has in it these days!!!
