I currently own two mk1 2 door escorts, 1975 is yellow and 1974 is blue(Auto tunnel).
i have owned escorts ever since my first car - gold 1974 2 door, over the years i have had 7 registered escorts in my name.
My yellow mk1 has got 1100 honda blackbird carbs on a pinto 2LTR it and sounds a treat, it is going under a spruce up atm, rust repairs and some dent pulling.
My blue mk1 is not much more than a shell right now, but it has already had many hours of time on a rotissary getting all rust out/mods done^ /brackets welded* on and the floor painted. A blacktop Zetec 2.0 is waiting patiently next to it on an engine stand. :)
