Dash pad repairs

Hi all,
what are the options for a split MK2  dash pad. Mine is split twice and I dont want it covered in leather or similar. Is it possible to get them redone to look original

I have heard good things from these guys.

    Dashboard Doctor
    71 Sydney Rd, Coburg
    Victoria 3058
    Phone: 03 9383 6861
    Fax: 03 93837088
I got a quote to have the dash redone and it was about $330 from memory.

You could always get it flocked.  Cost about $80.00.

I was quoted $295 from the dashboard doctor about 3 weeks ago.

keep in mind, if its original it means the covering will be rigid and quite brittle.

Id think that small crack would become a larger crack quite quickly once it goes into a car and starts flexing around.

Not trying to discourage, just making sure you are aware of what might happen.
