i looked at this but after much stuffing around thought it wasn't worth it as it would make it hard to take out one of the spark plugs, unless you were going to have a flange on the head then space it out with some runners then another flange, really not worth it that was my conclusion for a std cast manifold used as a top mount on the pinto

cheers joey, have u considered anything else?
i know your running a sierra injection manifold, but do u know if anything else is a close fit?
i was even considering running a std 32/36 manifold, getting an elbow to go where the carbi sits and mount an xf throttle body to that. Then get four bung holes drilled in the runners and mounting injectors and a fuel rail to that.

sorry mis read your talking about the inlet doh i was rambling on about the turbo manifold
yea the problem with the sierra injection is that you can't really just run a pipe over to the exhaust side you might as well run an intercooler

yea i had plates cut out to mount an ea falcon CPI throttle body to a std manifold  with a plenum and pipe running straight over the rocker cover to the turbo, the injectors are in the throttle body no need for a fuel rail

I am welding injector bungs into the underside of the std manifold and using a BA falcon fuel rail.  The BA is about 1-1.5mm wider per cylinder but its close enough.

Should have it done by next week.  It should clear the dissy (just).

Have a look at the SAAB and telstar? units.  Both have been done before.
