Harness crotch strap - mounting?

I've got this 6 point harness that I'm putting in my mk1. I've got most of it in all good, hopefully. I've just used the original seat belt mounts for the lap belt, and I've got a harness bar under the rear parcel shelf for the shoulder straps to mount to.

But I'm not sure how the crotch strap should be mounted up.

Do the straps go down to the floor and attach to a point/bolt there? And would it be better to have one or two bolts in there (both straps to one point, or a separate point for each)? Or is it meant to go down through the seat, and then back to the same mounts as the lap belt?
Does anyone have any pictures or suggestions of how the strap should go? I'm just not sure how its meant to be set up.

Excerpt from the CAMS manual attached. Given it's not a first catagory car, bolting the crotch strap to the lap points probably isn't a good idea. Plus, the mount on the trans tunnel is way too high. I would use two separate points down to the floor spread horizontally slightly and use appropriately sized backing plates.

    agree with Simon.
mine is attached to 2 plates (as per drawing I-4) welded to the underside & are underneath the seat & separate from any other mounts.  The strap comes up thru the seat.

Thanks for all the input guys. I've been doing some web searching but still can't find any pics of how its been done. I've got a couple of those plates, so will use those.
With the lap belt, is the mount on the outside of the car ok, or too far back? Could I just use another plate on the tunnel that lines up with the mount hole on the outside?

Matty, is your number still the same? And are you about on the weekend? I'll see if I can make a time to duck over and check yours out. PM me if your number has changed. Did you get my email about that red mk1?

if you mount both points to one points then the harness becomes a 5-point.  Use two separate mounting plates directly below where it goes through the seat hole.
