Best Moulded Carpet

Hi All,

Continuing my quest to gather parts for the upcomming rs2000 build, and im starting to think about carpet.

Ive done a search but not really many results.

Could i get an idea of what people think is the best supplier to get a good fitting moulded carpet for my mk2 4door. There is of course the obvious ebay, and google search , but a lot of time the best recommendations come from word of mouth.

Any pointers?

Dave

    Hi Dave
I've always had good service from Knox Auto Carpets. Never had a problem with the fit of their carpets to various cars I've built over the years.

    Cheers Mark.

    Thanks Mark.

They certainly came up towards the top of the list in my google search, so i count that as two ticks for knox.

Might give them a ring tomorrow.

PS: How did you go with that bar repair?

That section you gave me was invaluable as a test piece,  the bars almost finished but in hindsight I should have just looked for another to replace it. Just like rust, what you see on the surface is three times worse underneath.

    knox is the go.
in the concourse resto of my wife torana, we used them and they are an excellent fit and the professional trimmer that installed it agreed that it was top quality!!
