mixing clear coat

hi just painted my escort acrylic,im clear coating on top does anyone no wot the ratio to mix the clear coar,cheers

    Add Premium thinners till your stirring stick dribbles, then drips the paint.
    50%colour50%clear works.
    Pleanty of thin coats look better in the end.

    cheers so when im just clear coating is it 50 clear and 50 thinners

    No.
    You add some paint. Then add thinners till the mix dribbled then drips off the mixing stick.

    just a tip if its a metallic colour dont add any into the clearcoat  and 60:40 is a general mix ratio 40 clear and 60 thinners use a slow thinner too you get better flow out and it gives you time to get round the car
