WEATHER STRIP CLIPS FOR MK2 ESCORT VAN (MK1 DOORS)

Does anyone know where i can get these new? im talking about the ones that hold the weather strip onto the outer door skin,
 
Does anyone have some advise on how to get these in and out easily, i have quite a few left in that look quite rusted in and broken.

    Hi there.
     
    Not sure if they are same for the van as sedan (wouldnt see why not), but i purchased a bunch of new ones through ebay.

    Did you buy these for your mk1 or mk2?
     
    how did you go removing the old ones and fitting these?

    I have a MK2, so sorry, cant answer your MK1 questions.
     
    Plus I bought my car in pieces, and am going to be putting it back together. Not sure how they come off.

    These look the same as capri, you slide the clip down and rotate 90 dgrees so the jaws end point upward

    anyone else got some advice on fitting these?
    it seems the metal jaws are long enough to grip the strip
