After years of hits and misses now the proud owner of a 1993 Escort Cosworth. Apart from some issues finding the engine number it has flown thru SA rego and I put the new plates RSC-093 on today.

Hi ossie just got back from holidays in Merbein Vic so not attended to that yet. Drove to work this morning with no problems, but it is a bit hit and miss. Trying to source a few parts at the moment and then the  car is off my mechanic to fix this and a few electrical issues.

    Lovely mate ... enjoy.

RE 'hit and miss' engine miss ... check your phase sensor wiring (inside the dizzy) ... I'm assuming its a large turbo by looking at the mirrors (?)

Holidays in Merbein? as in Merbein near Mildura? It must have changed a bit since I was last there as there was nothing there worth doing except play golf (my family is from Mildura and I spent a bit of time around there). I take it you must have family/friends there.

Nice car though, always liked the Escort Cosworth.
    Cheers
