Jesus, what a joke.  Yet another another example of revenue raising!

Hope they never cross the border into Vic.

Car looks great.  Good to see you enjoying it.  Don;t know about the company you keep though ;-)

Yea so true!
The nose cone that is on the car is an early 'lettering' type, although from factory it would have been the blue oval type.
Blue oval doesnt actully fit properly, but its hard to tell.
Up close its very obvious, check out letter F pin holes exposed.

Oh and the night wouldn't have been complete without the fuzz getting in on the action. As I had the the Go Pro rolling I managed to capture the whole ordeal!!!
While I get drilled by the constabulary, shady character casually walks away.

Yeah absolutely! Its an awesome event - never been to a car event with such a good vibe to it all. The quality of the cars too, and the quantity and variety is astonishing. 6 DeLorean's for example!!

Why'd you get pulled over?

Agreed, it is one of those events that brings all car enthusiasts together, I thorougly enjoyed it.

A bit of flutter was enough to get their full attention and pull me over. One of the first questions was, What have you got in it?
But in the end all good, produced the certificate and I was on my way.

Cheers

Sounds like a good result.
I 'know' a guy with an engineered, 'certificated' Gemini running a 5.7 ltr V8. His car got impounded and scored a $2200 fine that night. I suspect their might be more to story but either way, an expensive night out for him...

Haha, Sounds like there is a lot more to the story.
Engineering makes your car legal, but that's it.
Had I gone past cops sideways bouncing off the rev limiter, the story would have been different for me too.

Cheers
