Great stuff.  What does the MR807 lane change manoeuvre test entail?

Hi Matt,
It is a test used "to determine the road holding ability and handling characteristicsof a vehicle". Basically car gets driven from the initial lane to another parrallel lane and then back to original lane. The lanes are fixed length and position, only width of lanes varies slightly dependant on vehicle width. Looks simple enough but it gets a bit challenging due to test speed being 110km/h and extra 270kg added to vehicle for the second test.

Here is a snapshot from onboard camera.

Do you get extra points if you get it sideways?

Amazing car mate.. looks stunning. I like the stock looking exterior with tastefull wheels, nice ride height. Even the glass looks great haha.
Must shock a few people off the line?

RS 2000I now have factory speedo working with Sr gearbox, although showing slightly higher (Adr requires it to be within 10%), it is in spec as far as complying with ADR is concerned. I have a few ways of getting it spot on but for now its all good.

Interested to know how you managed to get it working. SR box has electric sender if I'm not mistaken. What parts did you use to get the Escort cable speedo working?

No, I think that would probably loose you points, would look good tho for a second or two before you knock all the cones over.

Yes stock SR speedo sensor is electric, but I used mechanical speedo drive and custom speedo cable to get it working.

here is a pic of the 2 items needed for conversion.

Cheers

Been a bit slack last couple of months, but managed to do a thing or two in preparation for Regency.
Finally sorted out the 'Fuel box' in the boot, ended up going with an ally box with a hinged lid for easy access and reused all my existing pumps, surge tank and filter but had to re-do the hoses as everything had to be compactly mounted. Also installed Moroso sealed battery box and moved brake bias adjuster.
All thats left is couple minor things, get the windscreen washers working and charcoal canister mounted and connected.
Here is a few pics of the new setup
