Painting Escort rims

I want to paint the original rims of my mark 1 Escort. They are currently colour matched to the body. The finish I'm after is factory and was used on a lot of '70s Fords such as Falcons etc and I think British Escorts used a similar style. It is a matt finish that looks like something between silver and white. Can anybody help me here? What kind of paint do I use and what colour is it? If anyone has any pictures that might help also. Thanks.

a few years ago when I restored a HQ Monaro the steel wheels were painted in "Wheel Silver Metallic - 17216"
this was a GMH paint code so pretty easy for a paint shop to mix up. Im sure someone will have a Ford code, in case you dont want to use a Holden colour on your Ford
