Several people (myself included) have fitted Klippan parts K6244 and K6245 to the front of their MkII Escorts, but Klippan don't list anything for the MkI Cortina.  Given the other similarities between the two cars though, it might be worth looking to see whether these are suitable.  If not, try their general purpose ones:

Given their importance, a chat with your engineer about them would be worthwhile.  They can be had from Rare Spares, Supercheap Auto etc., although I wouldn't expect them to be off the shelf.

    Good luck.

I bought  2x sets from USA for the cost of 1 belt here, the quality is as good or better than Aust belts , they are 'universal' so can be fitted to any car with anchor points.

fwiw, I put klippan k7178 & K7179 in the front of my mk1 capri in 2007 when it was going to be a road car.
I also put 2 x K2257 lap sash belts in the back
They all came out last year when the harness went in for the track.

They are all in the shed almost brand new if your interested, or anyone else for that matter.

i only used the car a max of 1/2 a dozen times a year so the front ones got used maybe 25 times..
