Xflow points gap

Hi
Picked up my new mexico in Melbourne from Mark(harrier) on the weekend she ran perfectly for the first 750kms,untill about 20mins from home she started to miss and died.
The joys of owning an old ford are coming back to me. A quick call to mark and a run through the usual checks turned up that the points gap had closed. I just reset it by eye(didnt have a hacksaw blade with me) and off i went. Once home i flicked through an old manual that i have but it only covers the twin cam, so can someone let me know what the right setting for a 1600 Xflow is please.

    and the Lucas 0.40 mm ( 0.016 )
